Paulo Climachauska takes part in the Arte e Design exhibition, which just opened at the headquarters of Banco Santander in São Paulo. This is the seventh exhibition of the Convivendo com Arte programme to be held at the Sala de Arte Santander. This time, the idea is to highlight the positive exchange between art and design and the intersection between these fields of contemporary creativity. Both artists and designers transform materials through some process, whether traditional or digital and highly technological. Hence, the main goal is to show that both design objects and artworks use visual language to convey ideas and feelings.
The exhibition also shows how contemporary art increasingly expands its borders and relies on contributions from multiple fields, being one them design. Several works in the exhibition ironically subvert the use to which the objects were created, leading us to reflect on our way of living and thinking. In exhibition until January 31st.
