León Ferrari ? Lembranças de Meu Pai

The exhibition León Ferrari – Lembranças de Meu Pai, on display at Museu de Arte Contemporânea of USP Ibirapuera (MAC USP), shows 57 works of art by the Argentinian artist, which were produced during the time he lived in São Paulo, Brazil. The works are drawings, sculptures and paintings that deal with several themes, materials and materialities in his own configuration of the visual arts. The artist, who had a combative and resistive spirit, invested against the many kinds of freedom repression by positioning his art, critically and ironically, in opposition to the alienation of the contemporary society.
